50th REUNION YEARBOOK

Baird and Margo Milling Foster have agreed to co-chair this important project.  Paul Sturgis and Tom Baird will assist.  There will be a separate mailing to all classmates with a suggested form for classmates to create a personal page for inclusion in the yearbook.  The 1953 yearbook is the sample used.  The prospective letter was read and the Committee approved of the form of the letter.  Discussion followed as to information to be included with the personal pages, i.e., photos.  The manner for photos to be returned to classmates was discussed.  This mailing will be sent in early June (after the general mailing is sent by Pierce to all classmates) with return of information by classmates directly to the Fosters.  Deadline for returns [after June 30 (?)- still TBD].  After the deadline is passed, Pierce will contact by e-mail the classmates who have not yet responded.  Joyce will handle those classmates who do not have e-mail, by telephone and will, if necessary, conduct telephone interviews.  Joyce will have help from the Committee for this project.  Cost of the Yearbook was discussed and it was decided that the Fosters will contact some printers for estimated cost.  They will report later, but the "ballpark figure" was estimated at $10-$15 per book.

It was agreed that "classmates" include all who attended HMHS with our class, whether or not they were members of the formal "class."  Inclusion rather than exclusion.

Pierce and the Committee thanked Baird and Margo for tackling this on behalf of the class.
