Our Class Scholarship Coordinator, Baird Foster, received the following "thank you" from  Charlotte "Lotte" Olson, the first HMHS senior to receive the Class of 1956 Scholarship for Further Education in Music:

    "Thank you for your generous scholarship.  It is a pleasure to know how devoted your class is to HMHS's music department.  I intend to use the money to buy a trumpet.  It will be useful because I will be a trumpet performance major at Eastern School of Music next year.
    Thank you again for creating this incredible scholarship, and congratulations on meeting its financial goal so quickly.  I'll be reminded of your generosity every time I use my new  C trumpet!
