  • COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR SOCIETY.

    - E-Mail. Because of the widespread acceptance of E-Mail, it has become the
most popular and responsive way to communicate with your society. As
explained in our "Support Your Society" webpage, you can send your E-Mail to
one of the following HAS trustees:

    Wayne Hunter, '59

      mortgagesbywayne@comcast.net

    Tom Baird, '56:

      tombaird@comcast.net

    Tom Mervine, '60:

      tommervinejr@comcast.net

    Dave Colle, '71:

      dave.colle@strober.com

    - Fax. If you go to our "Support Your Society" webpage, you will find a form
that you can print, fill out and fax to trustee, Tom Baird (856-428-3801), who
will get it to the right person to provide you a quick response.

    - Mail and Contributions. Again, if you go to our "Support Your Society"
webpage, you can use our form ( or your personal correspondence ) and mail
it to the address listed on that webpage.

    - Telephone Calls. Although the previous methods of communication are
preferred, Tom Baird has volunteered his work and home telephone numbers

  • NEWSLETTER CHANGE IMPLEMENTED.

In spring of 2005 we started E-mailing the Newsletter to everyone who provided
an E-mail address to Alumni Research. Only those individuals for whom we have
no E-mail address will receive the Newsletter via conventional “snail mail”. This
will enable us to reduce the cost of this semiannual publication, which takes the
biggest chunk out of our budget.

  • ALUMNI DIRECTORY.

    Ordering A Directory
The Haddonfield Alumni Society has a limited number of directories available for
$25.00 (includes shipping). To place an order please contact Dave Colle at (800)
    883
    -8800, Ext.648.

Alumni can order a hardbound directory, an online version, or both through Alumni Research's customer service department. The number to call to place an order is
    (
    800) 925-8664. The cost of the hardbound book is $59.95. The cost for the online
version as a premium subscriber is $
39.95. Alumni who purchase the book will
receive one year free as a premium subscriber to the online directory. Premium
subscribers can renew their yearly subscription for
    $9.95.

    On-line Directory Features

The free features available to those who order the online directory version include
a "message board" on which alumni can post messages and other information; a
"chat room" for online communication among alumni; and the 'find a friend" feature
which allows alumni to search for other alumni and receive up to date information.
In addition, individuals can update their personal information and, for a fee, advertise
    their businesses.

    Updating Your Personal Information
        The hard
bound and online directories were published in May. Passwords and user Identification codes were sent to all HMHS alumni that provided e-mail addresses to
Alumni Research. Those individuals will henceforth be able to access the online
directory through the Haddonfield Alumni Society's website and make changes to
their personal information. Alumni who don't have computers are requested to notify
the Alumni Society of any personal information updates that they want made. The
Alumni Society will then make those changes for them in the online directory.

  • LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS (L.A.A.).

Over the past eleven years, the HAS has honored 60 HMHS graduates and 18
teachers from the Haddonfield school system by bestowing a Lifetime Achievement
    Award
    upon each of them.

The criteria for an individual to be considered for the award requires that he/she:

    (1)

Other than a teacher candidate, must have attended one of Haddonfield’s
public schools, but not necessarily had graduated from HMHS.

    (2)

Has been out of Haddonfield schools (as a student) for at least 20 years.

    (3)

Has distinguished him/herself during the course of their adult lives.

    (4)

If a teacher, must have taught within the Haddonfield public school system
      for at least 7 years.

There is an abundance of worthy alumni and teachers.  If you know of someone that
you deem to be worthy of this award, speak-up!  Make a commitment to “give back” to
the people who deserve it, to your school and to your community!

Click àHEREß for the LAA RECOMMENDATION FORM

The deadline for submitting the names of nominees to be considered to receive

  • CLASS GIFT PROCEDURES.

We have received many questions concerning how classes can "give back" to
HMHS and our present day students. Of course, one way is to send a check to support
the HAS Scholarship which is $1000 annually. The other way is to establish your own
Class Scholarship. Recently, the Class of 1956 decided to do this and established
their scholarship "For Further Education in Music". Their "Press Release" was
published in several of the local newspapers.

Click à HERE ß for the Class of '56 Press Release.

In spearheading the project for his class, Baird Foster did a lot of research and work
so he thought he would share it with other classes so they wouldn't have to reinvent the
    wheel.

Click à HERE ß for the Class Gifts' Memo.

Additional information on the Class of 1956 Class Gift to include:
              (1) A summary.
              (2) A picture of the first recipient.
              (3) A thank you letter.
