• Hello again to All the Alumni,

• I’ve now accepted the Presidency for the third time, but it’s worth it.

• It’s been an interesting and rewarding ride over the years that I’ve served on the Board in various capacities. I must state that I’ve been fortunate again in having great Officers and Trustees. With their help now and in the past, we’ve accomplished a lot of good things for the schools and you, our alumni.

• For a moment please allow me to repeat myself from previous publications of the Haddonfield Alumni Society Directory, because it shows our purpose. “The Haddonfield Alumni Society is dedicated to fostering a sense of pride, community, and continuity among former students of Haddonfield Public Schools.”

• The connection that we are providing will help with friendships, renew old ones sometime in the future, when you least expect them; and give you glimpses of what’s going on in town and around the country with some of our alumni. 

• We are continually updating our database to serve you, and to help with those all-important reunions. So keep in touch. When you make a change in your name, address, phone, or email, think of us first.

• Keep in mind that we can give you some guidance, if you’re putting a reunion together.  You can find us on the web at: www.h-a-s.org , which I hope you already enjoy. We welcome your suggestions.

• For those of you that are no longer in the area, you’ll be proud to know that the Haddonfield School System is one of the finest in New Jersey and in the United States of America! This is scholastically, culturally, and sports-wise too!  We have awards and championships to prove it.

• We’re especially proud of our excellent relationship with our high school, where we hold our annual Lifetime Achievement Awards for graduates who have shown exceptional abilities in the years since leaving our hallowed halls. We also are proud to present a one-time scholarship through alumni donations to a deserving graduating senior at the Senior Awards Ceremony.

• I want to leave you with one last thought in these trying times: “Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still un-tapped possibilities within us.” -- Dale Turner.
